Thank you to all of the staff at Botleys Mansion who were involved in Charley and Sam’s wedding on Friday 14th September. Every one of you helped to make it a truly magical event from start to finish. We’ve had such wonderful feedback from those who attended.
Maddie. We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the team at Harper / Botleys. We had the BEST day, everything was perfect and it all went exactly to plan. We had so many lovely comments from friends and family about the venue, the service and the food.
Dear Team, I would like to say a massive thank you to all of you for the help and guidance throughout planning our wedding, right up to the moment I walked down the aisle and when we had breakfast the following morning. Words cannot explain how brilliant and helpful your staff were. Lisa was particularly fantastic, she looked after me all morning making sure I was ready on time, even down to buttoning up my dress! I can’t thank you enough Lisa for putting myself and my family at ease, we felt so well looked after. Guy was also great in the evening, he made sure our drinks were constantly topped up and that everyone was having a fun all night. Thank you! The other staff members were so happy to help at any stage it really made us feel special on such an important day. The young gent who took our 12:30am drinks orders in the Library must have been working all day but he was still more than happy to do anything he could to make our evening perfect. The venue was just gorgeous, we had one of the hottest days in summer but we were fully topped up with water and the drinks were served outside in the sunshine. It was lovely to be able to use the lawn games outside and to enjoy the air-conditioned atrium into the evening. We were lucky enough to have fireworks and what a spectacular backdrop it was, having the whole venue exclusive meant all of our friends and family could gather around the steps and fountain for the display which made it such a special moment. As a previous wedding coordinator and self-confessed control freak I can quite confidently say your whole team successfully put me at ease and always made us feel that everything was under control, which it was. The planning stages were made so simple with the easy to use planning website, something I logged into most evenings! On the day the whole team knew everything that was happening hour by hour, the process was very regimented and worked absolute wonders. I want to thank you again for all making such an important day for us, just perfect!
We wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for everything that you and the team did for our day on Friday. We thought it would be great but it exceeded our wildest dreams. We had the best day. The number of compliments we’ve got from people on how beautiful the venue was and how great the food was have been too many to count! Thank you so much for such a great day. Thanks again for all your help and to the whole team for making our day so memorable.
We wish to write to you to say a big thank you for ensuring our wedding day went so smoothly. We had a fab memorable day and the the house and staff were all part of that.
Special thanks to Emma for having to deal with all my emails timely; to the two Sarah’s (especially evening Sarah for handling the drag DJ with a great sense of humour); and lastly Guy, who was there ensuring all was set up and coming to the rescue in fixing the button holes. The guests all commented on how amazing the house looked and how tentative the staff were during the wedding reception (perhaps too tentative for our champagne hungry friends lol). Please thank the Chef also as the food was wonderful and everyone still is praising the Sticky Beef.
