The bride walked down the white-carpet aisle on the arm of her brother Ross, to the song, ‘A Thousand Years’, played by a string quartet. The ceremony was traditional and absolutely beautiful. A white cover and bow was placed on every chair, and the aisle was lined with fresh petals and candles lit in hurricane lanterns. The top of the aisle was decorated with extravagant white and green floral arrangements designed by Sonning Flowers and the couple exchanged vows in the early afternoon.
After some celebratory drinks and lots of memorable photographs, the newlywed couple and their wedding guests enjoyed a sumptuous banquet in The Atrium. The bride and groom made their entrance down the grand stair case before being served a red onion and goats cheese tart for a starter, chicken with seasonal vegetables and a potato stack for a main course and a trio of desserts consisting of crème brulee, sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake. The wedding reception tables were decorated with a combination of tall and short floral arrangements, flourishing with peonies and freesias, that had once again been created by the amazing team at Sonning Flowers. For wedding favours, Victoria and Ben gave their guests a Celtic love knot wine stopper and when it came to having a special place for guests to drop cards, the couple hired the Harper postbox.
After the speeches, the newlyweds cut their wondrous wedding cake. The 4-tier wedding cake featured a different flavour in each tier ensuring that everyone got a slice they liked; the variety of flavours were fruit, chocolate, lemon and red velvet. The design of the cake was very classic and fitted in perfectly with Victoria and Ben’s natural wedding theme. Floral décor and a striking gold-leaf tier completed the look.
To add a bit of fun to their wedding reception, Victoria and Ben created a #hashtag station where people could use the hashtag #RosenthalWedding to print their pictures instantly. The couple also hired light up LOVE letters to stand near the dance floor to give the room another dimension. The couple danced their first dance to ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ by Alicia Keys and ONE Entertainment kept the dance floor full all night. Just before the end of the evening, the bride tossed her bouquet to the hopeful single girls in the crowd – the perfect ending to a dream wedding day.
