After their romantic vows, the exchange of rings, their first kiss as husband and wife, India and Tom headed back down the aisle celebrate their marriage with friends and family in The Library and out on the patio. Giant garden games had been laid out to entertain guests and the newlywed couple headed off with their photographer, David Nash, to have some beautiful wedding photography taken around Cain Manor’s incredible grounds.
The day was decorated with beautiful floral designs created by Sonning Flowers. India had opted for an array of white and green shades, with lots of hydrangea and roses. Tom wore a small white rose in his buttonhole and two, pedestals stood tall at the front of The Music room, for the ceremony; fairy lights and foliage down the beams added that extra touch of rustic glam. For the reception tables, white hydrangea stood in vases of different heights and the tables were named after different trees.
For their wedding banquet, the couple had pre-selected a menu of: Onion tart to start, a roast chicken main and Harper’s delicous sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The couple had ordered a light green, four tiered wedding cake with white laced detail from Harper which featured a variety of different flavours consisting of red velvet, chocolate, coffee cake and lemon. ‘Mr & Mrs’ rock style sweets were spread over each table for guests to enjoy. India and Tom also placed signs on each table, asking guest to use the hashtag #tomandindia if there were posting images of their wedding celebration on to social media.
An additional 10 guests were invited to the evening reception and the couple danced their first dance to ‘I Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You’ by Andy Williams. The dance floor was then full, with music provided by the Harper DJ.
Before the end of the night, India tossed her bouquet to her single friends – but her uncle caught it and therefore a re-throw had to take place; it was all very funny!
