Sonning Flowers has been established since 2004, specialising in weddings and events. Some of our largest contracts include providing flowers at Royal Ascot and Henley Regatta. We are proud of winning multiple national wedding industry awards as Best Wedding Florist. We are lucky enough to have worked at some prestigious venues in southern England and we have been a Harper recommended supplier for over 5 years.
We love working with the happy couple in the run up to their special day, we enjoy listening to their requirements, taking time to understand the look they are trying to create and then helping to create that look. One bride said in a recent testimonial “If we could have painted a picture of perfection, Sonning Flowers brought that picture to life”.
Sonning Flowers has a team of florists, but there is always a primary wedding florist dedicated to each wedding.
Ideally, one year in advance. Flowers are seasonal and so it’s beneficial to discuss your wedding flowers at roughly the same time of year.
To discuss the bride’s bouquet it is useful to see an image of the bride’s dress, and to know the colour of the bridesmaids’ dresses to discuss the colour scheme as a whole. It is also useful for the bride to gather some images of arrangements they like. During our consultation process we will go through our portfolio, magazines and books, and create a moodboard for your wedding.
All of our weddings are bespoke.
In the spring I love French tulips, muscari and ranunculus. During the summer months my favourites are peonies, roses and hydrangea. In the winter I love amaryllis.
Romantic, soft and floaty. Lots of candlelight and petals. In a mixture of different pastel colours.
I would choose a wedding florist who listens to my requirements and understands the look I am trying to create. Someone who I believe we can work together to help create my dream day.
