I am a professional singer / host in the style of Frank Sinatra, plus a wedding music manager/agent for all other kinds of wedding music and DJ’s via Sugartown.
Sinatra’s music and style is unique in the fact that it seems to appeal to the vast majority of the population at some level and when performed accurately and professionally is loved by those who know Sinatra’s music well and appreciated and respected by those new to it.
I perform as ‘Frank’ recreating the songs to sound so like the original I get accused of miming all the time. I subtly alter my performance style and level of interaction according to the audience and period of the day, from very background (could be a CD) to full feature (Look at Me!) interaction with the whole room involved and singing along.
I also retain the Character in the spoken voice and can make announcements as ‘Frank’ which is fun and always a talking point amongst the guests.
Available with Backing tracks, Pianist, live band and String quartet options.
It is the verbatim accuracy of the music plus the wit, fun and interaction that make the So Sinatra show unique.
I have a list of public performances and wedding showcase days by arrangement.
Anything by Sinatra is always considered as I can get a good quality backing track or band chart. For music in between sets I will play anything requested.
60’s Black Suit and straight tie and Fedor or Pork pie hat, or Tux on request.
Ceremony is usually 4 songs, Drinks Reception up to 90 mins straight through; End of Dinner is around 30 min interactive.
Evening is from 1st dance to 2 x 45 minutes plus ‘New York’ Finale before carriages.
It is the 100th anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s birth in 2015 so there is a lot in the media about his life and lots of Sinatra shows and music being played, so a lot more people will have Sinatra on their radar.
If you were getting married, what would be your idea of ultimate entertainment?
Frank Sinatra and his Orchestra of course!
