Charlotte Roscow has been helping couples have the perfect ceremony for over ten years. The ceremony is the most important part of your wedding, and Charlotte can help make the vows suit you exactly as a couple.
Charlotte Roscow LLB (Hons) is a registered wedding celebrant who conducts ceremonies predominantly throughout London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and the rest of the Home Counties, but also across the UK and in France by arrangement.
Charlotte originally spent several years working as a Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages in Hertfordshire. Now, working as a professional celebrant she creates and conducts bespoke wedding ceremonies, funerals and naming ceremonies.
Charlotte Roscow is a registered celebrant with the Association of Independent Celebrants.
Charlotte Roscow is a Hertfordshire-based civil celebrant writing and performing bespoke ceremonies for couples looking to get married or renew their vows. As a celebrant, couples come to Charlotte because they prefer to have the freedom of choice in deciding upon the location for their wedding ceremony and who conducts it – unlike a council ceremony where there are restrictions on venues, rules on time of day, and you don’t even get to meet the person who will marry you beforehand.
As a civil celebrant Charlotte is able to prepare and conduct ceremonies in any venue a couple prefer, even if it isn’t usually approved for legalised weddings, helping to turn their romantic dream into reality. There are countless options; from a country house or a famous landmark, to your favourite pub or parents’ back garden; perhaps it’s where they first met or where the proposal took place.
After a full Planning Meeting often held at the proposed venue, Charlotte then creates the ceremony with the couple, incorporating all the elements they wish to have and then performs it on the day, at the location of their choice.
Charlotte trained as a Registrar for Births Deaths & Marriages at Hertfordshire County Council.
But at the present time all Celebrants are unable to legally marry a couple on the day, so the process for a celebrant wedding is the same as getting married abroad. Simply complete the paperwork that legally marries you in the registry office, and then you are free to have the ceremony exactly as you want it.
Absolutely. The choice is yours to have religious elements or none at all. Many couples choose a celebrant because they want to include elements from one or more religions. Perhaps you or your family are of different faiths and you would like a ceremony that brings both those traditions together.
Approximately between 30- 45 minutes depending on what a couple have chosen.
