The day was absolutely flawless, the waiting staff, bar staff and DJ were brilliant, and everybody was raving about the food and
how well looked after we all were. The venue was beautiful and we got very lucky with the weather, so all in all it was a brilliant day. And of course Alex was absolutely beautiful as I knew she would be! Huge thanks to Maddie and Jo for putting up with all our questions over the last 18 months and helping us stay positive when we didn’t know if we’d be able to have the wedding we wanted – we got there in the end!

We just wanted to say thank you for hosting such a wonderful wedding. All the guests loved it. We had such an amazing day. thanks again can’t fault anything. Sad that it’s all over now but we have so many amazing memories.

We can’t recommend Notley Abbey enough, we had to rearrange our wedding 4 times due to covid and they made it so easy to finally get our special day! Our wedding day was fantastic, the venue and staff were amazing and did everything possible to make our day exactly as we wanted it! We had our dream wedding and we can’t thank Notley Abbey enough for helping to make this possible!

I don’t know where to start with such an incredible day we had. Absolutely blown away! Working with you and your team in the run up was absolutely faultless and ensured the day was as we had dreamed of. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble and the team were always a few steps ahead allowing Simon and I to really enjoy the day.
Lisa and Barbara were a god send. They really helped me throughout the day, even helping me breath before going in to the ceremony! There is so much more I could write about how fantastic it was but I would be here all day! Please pass my huge thanks on to the whole team who was part of our amazing day. You guys really are incredible!

We just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you so much for everything that you did for us last Saturday. We had a fantastic day and everything went perfectly. The attention to detail that you had throughout the day was amazing from making sure we had a drink and some canapés to taking us around the room before everyone else was amazing.

Me and Maria would just like to say thank you to Maddie and Anne for organising our planner and making it so easy to plan the big day. The day was amazing and Dan who was in charge was fantastic! He spoke to us on many occasions seeing how we were. Would highly recommend your venue to other couples!

We had a wonderful wedding day at Botleys Mansion – it surpassed both of our expectations. Many of our guests commented on the outstanding quality of the food, professional service & the general relaxed flow of the day. It was exactly what we wanted – you did us proud. Dan, our wedding coordinator was simply excellent – he was calm, organised, extremely personable and a thoroughly professional hand on the wheel throughout. Emma, our MC, was also outstanding on what we understand was her first wedding assignment – always available to ensure the smooth running of the evening until the last guests had left. Also please pass our thanks to Guy who looked after us really well during our tasting day and, of course, Ann & Maddie in the planning office for helping us navigate the on-line system, and for their help in reorganising the entire event twice due to CV19 – particularly for securing our final date quickly after the government’s announcement of the lockdown extension on June 14th. In summary, it is by far the most expensive party we’ll ever finance, but for the day we had – and without a doubt – it was completely worth it.
