Lastly please thank the chefs, everyone has been talking about the food and how it’s the best they’ve ever had at a wedding, they can’t stop mentioning the beef!!! So Thankyou to them.

We cannot thank Notley Abbey and all of its staff enough for the most wonderful wedding day. To say you go above and beyond is an understatement. Right from the initial viewings, planning meetings and tastings, we were completely at ease because it was clear that you were extremely experienced and we had no doubts that our special day would be exactly that. The planning tool was fantastic – it gave us the ability to interactive with you regularly and your responsiveness and willingness to adapt to bespoke ideas was exceptional.
I could not fault anything on the day itself. We arrived, unpacked cars and before we knew it, everything had been taken to the right rooms. You had clearly taken note of our design ideas and plans as all the decorations had been laid out perfectly. I cannot praise Lisa and Barbara enough. Ladies – you were beyond amazing and we couldn’t have done it without you. You were calm, friendly and warming and you made sure everything went to plan. There are not enough words to describe how thankful we are to both of you for everything you did.
We would thoroughly recommend Notley Abbey and Harper weddings to anyone. Your service is nothing short of exemplary and the team work is incredible to see. Thank you to everyone – we loved it so much, we’d do it all over again!

We are finally coming down from the massive high of this weekend! Thank you so much to you and the whole Botley’s team for helping us to have the most amazing day! The whole day was so stress-free and everything went so well. The waiting and bar staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us – please pass on our thanks. The venue managers were so helpful without being intrusive at all and we really appreciated them being on hand all day. We’ve had so many comments about how beautiful the venue was and especially how good the food was which means so much to us, so thank you to the kitchen staff for that! It was just the best day we could have asked for so thank you so much and take care!

We just wanted to say a big thank you to all your staff that helped make our day so special! A big thank you to Guy and Sam who ensured everything happened so seamlessly & kept us both very relaxed throughout the whole day. To both Ann and Maddie that helped so much throughout the whole planning process, we couldn’t have done this without you. It might have been a year later than planned, but we honestly had the best day ever and wish we could do it all over again… It was 100% worth the wait for a restriction free wedding! We can’t believe we have been married a week already!

A note to say a very big thank you to all the staff at Notley Abbey for helping us to have the most perfect day for our daughters wedding on Saturday 14th August. The organisation and smooth running of the whole day was incredible, what a great team you have. Notley Abbey really felt like home for the day. It is a beautiful venue and from their first visit Jenny and Tom fell in love with it and knew it was just perfect. It will hold a special place in their hearts I’m sure.
Thank you all – we wish we could do it all again!

Our wedding day at Notley was amazing. The Harper team looked after us superbly and nothing was too much trouble. On the day Ian and Gemma ensured the day ran beautifully. We would like to also thank Annette who was a superstar by being incredibly flexible and helpful during the set up of the day. The little touch of offering and making orange bows from our left over ribbon to put on the seating plan cards was above and beyond. We would also like to thank the support team and particularly Maddie who accommodated all of the changes and requests as the big day approached. Our guests were all very complimentary about the venue, the food and wine and the overall service they received. Thanks again for making our day so special and memorable. We loved it.

We just wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for our wedding day on Thursday. The whole day ran so smoothly, it really was a dream come true. Maddie and Anne have been fantastic throughout the planning process. Nothing was too much trouble, including all the last minute changes after the planner was locked. Thank you so much. To the lovely ladies who met me in the reception and were constantly checking every detail was perfect, as a bride could not have asked for anything more. And a special mention to Guy. You met us when we first viewed Botleys Mansion and were the last person I spoke to on the wedding day. You are a true gentleman and the day could not have gone as it did without you. We cannot thank you enough. You are a credit to a Botleys mansion. The food and wine were fantastic and all bar and waiting staff were great. All of our guests were blown away by the venue and day.
