Dear Ann, Dan and the Harper team,Oli and I would like to say a massive thank you for all your help with our wedding on Saturday and the planning on the build up to it. We thought the messaging system was great. Thank you for all the quick responses. It really helped with the planning process. Thank you for your help with coordinating everything on the morning of the wedding. Maxine was great at keeping me up to date with what was going on downstairs and keeping me on schedule. It enabled me to focus on getting ready and spending a bit of time with family and bridesmaids before the ceremony which was really nice. Thanks to Sam and the rest of the staff for looking after me throughout the evening. Everyone had a great time and I have had so many messages from guests saying how much they enjoyed it and loved the venue.

We’re back from honeymoon and just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for everything for our pre-wedding night and wedding. You all did amazing, especially all three managers Dan, Sam and Maxine, who were so helpful the whole time and made the whole thing seamless! All our guests have said what a great time they had. We LOVED every minute of it!

As we ease ourselves into a new year, Jim and I wanted to thank you all for what was indeed a wedding to remember.
From the outset, you have all been the most wonderful team ( the emphasis on team) to work with. Memories of our Daughter Kate’s wedding on the 3rd November 2017 set the bar very high for you all but from the moment we met Maddie at Cain Manor, and then again at Notley, we were ever thankful that Wasing Park blew us out!
Maddie & Ann, you have both been an absoute delight to work with. Not only your collective calm amd soothing manner, but your sense of humur and sage advice, which was always most welcome by us both. Ann we worked with you for the best part of the planning and you were amazing. You always did what you said you would and confirmed everything that we discussed in an email. You were so patient and so very kind. To Jess, the most wonderful front of house and what a superb ambassador for Harper. Nothing was ever too mu ch trouble and you were an absolute delight to work with. We will never forget you! Thanks too for finding my abandoned dress and being so helpful during our menu & wine tasting sessions. Hospitality is really your thing!!
To John our ‘night before’ host. Thanks so much for being so accomodating, friendly and cheerful throughout the evening. With the fires lit and chrismas mucic playing our night before supper was as memorable as the day itself. It was so easy to have you around and the evening went without a hitch.
To Lisa, when did you have your angel wings fitted? An absolute star and I drifted through the most wonderful day in the knowldge that you were liaising with my MC and my friend who was herding upstairs. Your support and guidance to us all, your expert help with a too long bridesmaid’s dress and a ‘how to hold your bouquet’ session as we waited for the registrar was as memorable as the day itself – you went above and beyond. Thanks for looking after us. To Lee, our Chef on both days. The food was sublime and on the day, it was even better than the menu tasting. Everyone loved it – thanks so much. It was superb! You’re a star! To the servers / waiters how professional! Seamless delivery of food and each meal piping hot. Later in the evening, as bar staff they were charming and courteous. Thank you all.

As soon as we pulled up, we knew Notley Abbey was where we wanted to get married, and we had a wonderful day last month. The whole Notley team was fantastic, both throughout the planning process and on the day. I’ve lost count of how many guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how professional the team were.

Firstly, can we say a big thank you to you all for everything that you did both in the run up to the wedding and on the big day itself. It was seamless from start to finish and managed to feel intimate all at the same time! You all really helped us celebrate our day- including the surprises organised by my parents which were totally secret! Thank you all again for everything- it truly was a wonderful day.

Now we are back to reality after the excitement of the wedding and honeymoon, we wanted to send you and the team a huge thank you for helping to plan and oversee our special day.
The planning process was made so easy with the online planner and knowing that we were able to chat with a member of the team whenever we had any questions. The planning meetings were really helpful and it was great to meet you too. It was reassuring to know that you were all over the details.
Our wedding day itself was perfect. The venue looked stunning, we had so many compliments from our guests and we were both very well looked after by Lisa, Barbara, Jess & Uschi throughout the day. Everything went seamlessly, we couldn’t have asked for more.
Please could you pass on our thanks as well to the bar and serving staff who were wonderful for the whole time we were there. Once again, a huge thank you for helping to make our day so memorable.

I got married here in December 2021 and I cannot fault Botleys one bit. The team were so helpful throughout the planning process and their responsiveness to emails was just amazing. No question was too silly and they went above and beyond to help in any way they could.
The actual day just ran so smoothly and I had to do nothing on the day as it was all taken care of. From placing the place cards on tables and taking my veil to my room after the ceremony! The food and drinks were sublime and my guests said it was the best wedding food they have ever had! They also commented how wonderful the servers and bar staff were! You of course pay a premium for Botleys but you get what you pay for! Would recommend to anyone and thank you for making our special day so wonderful!

such a special place and we’re thrilled that we chose it for our wedding. A
huge thanks to you for all your help in organising a seamless experience –
and to the team on the day for looking after us so thoroughly well.
