The venue by itself is stunning, but what makes it even better are its approachable, patient and kind staff members.
Ann, Ashley and Maddie worked with us tirelessly pre-wedding, helping us plan and think through every detail.
On the day itself, both the day and night managers were amazing, very helpful, very attentive to our MCs, guests and suppliers.
All the other staff and waiters went above and beyond, we could very easily talk to them, ask questions which they always responded to with a big smile.
Every time they saw us struggling or rushing things, they helped us focus, slow down.
For us it was not 5 stars but 100 stars.

Amazing venue, incredible staff on wedding day!We chose Notley Abbey for it’s beautiful drive up and the stunning venue. Leading up to our special day we really enjoyed the wedding Wednesday’s, menu tasting and online planner. The day itself went perfectly, the operations manager on the day was so helpful, put me at ease and made everything run smoothly.

From all the planning, visits, taster sessions, showcase evening, answering my emails promptly to the big day itself, you have all been wonderful. On the day, everything ran perfectly and the food/drinks were delicious. Many of our guests commented on the food plus how stunning the venue was. As a team you ran the day seamlessly which put Glenn and I both at ease. The whole experience from first visiting Cain Manor to our big day has been great and we would thoroughly recommend your services to anyone else. We can’t stop talking about how special Friday was with all our friends and family.

To the whole team at Notley Abbey, Ant & I just want to say a huge thank you for such an incredible wedding at the weekend. Right from the start of our journey, you have all been amazing, in particular Ann our planner. So helpful & kind! I arrived at Notley on Friday evening and from the moment I arrived with my family & friends, I knew we had the perfect wedding venue. We were greeted on arrival, help was given to unload the cars & dinner was provided! Service was outstanding. Then we go onto the actual wedding day itself and we are both lost for words. There are no words other than you were all incredible. Every single person from the amazing Barbara, who kept us all in order right through to the staff who served dinner and at the bar. All of our family & friends have commented about the beautiful venue & we’re so grateful to you. We’d recommend your venue in a heartbeat & Notley Abbey will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We’ll most definitely be back & forever be scrolling through the photos. I just wanted to send a message to say a MASSIVE thank you to the whole team at Cain Manor! What a day! We can’t believe we got married a whole week ago. From the amazing food, service and just how chilled the Atmosphere was. That is all thanks to your team, you should be very proud. Lots of the guests had been to many different weddings and different venues and everyone has said it’s the best wedding food, drink and service they have ever had. Nothing was too much for the team and honestly we couldn’t have asked for more.
We are honestly so so thankful for giving us the BEST day of our lives- sorry kids but your births have been outdone.

I wanted to come on here to say a huge and heartfelt thank you for everything in the run up to and on the big day itself. Ann and Maddie you are both superstars in answering all our questions, and running the big day so well. We had the perfect wedding day and all the guests kept saying that it was run like absolute clockwork – you, the team, the waiters are blooming fantastic and Morgan as the MoC was superb! Grant and I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for last week! It was our dream day. A specific shout out to Yasmine who was just incredible on the day- she was able to help with everything but without being in the way at all!
