We just wanted to say thank you so so much for making our wedding day perfect and run so smoothly, many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue, food and atmostphere was. Some even told me it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. We were blown away with how nice the staff were and we will definitely recommend people to get married here in the future.

We had such an amazing day on Saturday your team on-site were amazing and look after us so well. We had a lot of people say how good they thought the venue was, the service, food and the rooms. We were also very lucky with the weather so we spent a lot of time outside which made the day a little more special.
Thank you for your great support and from the whole Harper team you have been brilliant and ensured our day went so well.

Tim and I would like to thank you all for everything you did leading up to, and on, our wedding day. We had the most perfect day and we really appreciate all of the hard work from everyone involved! From the management team, waiting staff, bar staff and cleaning staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Notley Abbey to anyone looking for a venue. We absolutely loved our day.

I just wanted to thankyou all for an incredible day Thursday. I cant say enough how great all the staff was in the day. The waiting staff were amazing. I know they are all quite young and they were great and extremely professional.

Firstly and primarily a huge thank you to the lady (apologies I can’t quite remember her name) who was there to greet Jack when he arrived and then again when we arrived from the church. She was so organised and thoughtful throughout even bringing us canapes during the photos and arranged the whole set up beautifully. There were many thoughtful touches that she added to the day – Offering us drinks when we arrived, helping me out the car in my dress, telling us not to rush after the photos, taking Jack into the venue to check that everything was done correctly, really putting us at ease during a possibly very stressful day.
As I look back on the day now and in the future I know that these are moments I will never forget.
Secondly I wanted to extend my thanks to the younger members of the team who were so willing and available to help. My dad brought lots of important items to Notley at 11 and when he returned home the first thing he said was ‘there was a line of four people stood there ready to help unload the car’. For full transparency my dad is not the most positive of people, I have never heard him compliment a restaurant or venue i think EVER…but he was positively gushing about how fantastic the day team at Notley were. I wish I got as many compliments as your staff got from him!!! So a huge thank you for this.
Lastly I wanted to expess my thanks to the catering team for what we have been told several times was ‘the besst ever wedding food’. One guest evens said to us ‘I have been to eight weddings this year and this is hands down the best food’. It was all piping hot, perfectly timed, immaculately presented and delicious. I’m still thinking about how good the soup was!
Also thanks for all your help and speedy replies throughout the last year- you have also been so accomodating and organised and keeping us on track for the planner locking with total kindness.

Where do I start…! We did it! And couldn’t have done it without the professional, attentive and outstanding contribution from you all.
From the very first meeting with Dean, to saying goodbye to the team on Sunday morning as we packed up our things, the service has been wonderful. The venue was absolutely perfect, so many people complimented the delicious food (especially the beef!), and all staff were professional and friendly. My hairdresser and make up artist in particular loved the Getting Ready room. They have been to yours in previous years and thought this was such a great addition. Finally, once again I just want to pass on our sincere thanks and gratitude to Ann and Maddie. You made everything so easy, so enjoyable and stress-free. We really couldn’t have done it without your help, patience and flexibility.

As the dust settles from our wedding on Saturday 18th February, I wanted to take this chance to say a HUGE thank you to the whole team who made our day possible! From the ground up, wedding days do not run as smoothly as ours did without everybody pulling together as one. I truly feel that the discretion and professionalism of the entire team needs to be commended. From your hand holding during the wedding planning stage to the day itself the service has been nothing short of exemplary.
Our managers over the weekend, Jane, Freya and Danni were perfectly time conscientious without being pushy. They made Michelle and I feel welcome and valued at all times, you made us feel very special. Our guests have been echoing the sentiment, with compliments at how well thought out and organised the day was. The team exercised high quality service and a fantastic guest experience. To mention some examples, the champagne and line of eager congratulations from every staff member waiting to greet us in the library after our Ceremony was a lovely unexpected touch. Freya and Danni constantly checked in with us ensuring that no request was too much to ask. Michelle tells me that Jane even swooped up her dress to ensure it did not catch on the stones.
Michelle and I could not be more pleased with our venue choice and the personable caring conduct of each and every staff member. Cain Manor will always hold a special place in our hearts and we thank you for this!

Just wanted to say another thank you. We had the absolute best day ever. Everything went to plan and although I’m sure people were running round in the background, it appeared completely calm and seamless.

Ant & I just want to say a huge thank you for such an incredible wedding at the weekend. Right from the start of our journey, you have all been amazing, in particular Ann our planner. So helpful & kind!
I arrived at Notley on Friday evening and from the moment I arrived with my family & friends, I knew we had the perfect wedding venue. We were greeted on arrival, help was given to unload the cars & dinner was provided! Service was outstanding. Then we go onto the actual wedding day itself and we are both lost for words. There are no words other than you were all incredible. Every single person from the amazing Barbara, who kept us all in order right through to the staff who served dinner and at the bar. All of our family & friends have commented about the beautiful venue & we’re so grateful to you. We’d recommend your venue in a heartbeat & Notley Abbey will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We’ll most definitely be back & forever be scrolling through the photos.
We can’t wait to see the rest of Suzys amazing work.
