Jade and Victor’s wedding at Cain Manor

Explore Cain Manor

Finding the venue

In the early stages of their planning, Jade & Victor knew they wanted an elegant, exclusive use venue to celebrate with their 120 guests. When visiting Cain Manor they loved that the venue was set back and surrounded by beautiful grounds. Being introduced to the online planner during their first visit gave the couple confidence that they would be supported throughout their planning, which sold them.

The inspiration

Jade and Victor wanted to keep their wedding tasteful but simple, so they opted for a lavender theme, which was a favourite of Jade’s grandad. Shades of purple were used throughout the bridal bouquets, which complimented the bridesmaid’s dresses beautifully. Lavender was also used in the hessian wrapped glass jars, displayed as centrepieces during the wedding breakfast, creating a wonderful rustic countryside vibe.

The food

As a couple who love food, Jade and Victor wanted to make sure their wedding breakfast was memorable, so chose delicious satay skewers to start, followed by a massaman lamb curry and sweet chocolate melting middle pot to finish. The couple thoroughly enjoyed their tasting at Cain Manor, and said it was “the most enjoyable aspect” during their planning process, as well as cake tasting, understandably! The couple decided to have cupcakes instead of a traditional tiered wedding cake, which they thought would be more covid friendly, and allowed them to easily cater to everyone’s dietary needs.

The attire

Victor brought his grey three-piece suit from Slater Mens Wear, and chose charcoal grey for his four ushers. To add a pop of colour, the suits were paired with plum purple ties, which matched the bridesmaid’s dresses. Jade first found her wedding dress when searching on Pinterest, before trying it on in person in a bridal boutique. As someone who is autistic it was very important to Jade for her dress to be sensory friendly, so as soon as she tried it on, she knew it was the one, and what a stunning choice it was!

The planning

Jade and Victor had a beautiful ceremony in the Music room, surrounded by friends, family and the twinkling fairy lights. Light up MR & MRS letters lit up the side of the barn with a warm glow, as Jade walked down the aisle with her mum, before shedding a tear or two as she saw Victor.

When the ceremony came to an end the happy couple walked outside as Mr and Mrs, “the most memorable moment” for the couple. They were showered with confetti, which of course was captured on camera beautifully.

Looking back

The wedding day was a blast, filled with smiles and delicious food; not forgetting the romantic sunset, which made a stunning backdrop for the all important couple photos.

“The whole experience was wonderful and just a happy day! We are so glad we chose Cain Manor, the team just made it better than we could have dreamed of!”
